Room 18's Wonderful Visitors

Last Tuesday Room 18 had some wonderful visitors. We loved hearing them share their stories and showing us their family treasures.

Here are some of the things we saw-

Grandparents day!

On Tuesday 20th September room 19 had an open day. The children invited their grandparents to share stories from their cultures and childhoods. we learnt alot about each other that day, we learnt about what makes us different and unique and also what makes us simliar to each other. It was a wonderful morning of celebrating our diversity as a class.

We had a big turn out for room 19. Glad we could all fit in!

Dear Nana,

Thank you for coming and sharing about the gum and axe my great grandfather dug up out of the ground.

Love Fionn.

Dear Grandma and Grandad,

Thank you for coming and telling us something about a Bible. It belonged to my great, great, great Grandpa. My Dad will get it next to look after.

Love Amber.

I was amazed at how old the Bible was. From Abigail
