Grandparents Morning in Room 14

On Tuesday we had an excellent grandparents morning. We spoke to all kinds of different grandparents from all around the world like Australia, England and New Zealand.
May's grandparents brought a huge key and a book that May's grandad had written about his family.
Ella's grandparents brought a small chest, it was so special because Ella's great grandfather made it.
Matthew's grandma used to live in Zimbabwe, she brought a lot of little things that she collected when she was living there.
Joseph's grandparents were on Skype, they live in England, it was great fun speaking to them on the computer.
Finn's grandma brought an engine model, it was about 100 years old and belonged to her great grandad.
Amelia's grandparents brought the ruby ring of the second white woman in New Zealand, it was a very special ring.
Maia's grandma brought some postcards to show us where her family comes from.
It was such a great morning because we didn't know what the grandparents were going to bring and we also learnt a lot from another generation of people.
