How to Enrol
If you are resident within the school zone:
Contact the school office on (09) 5758-156 x 700 or e.mail: office@churchillpark.school.nz to request an Enrolment Pack. This can be done soon after a child’s 4th birthday. The designated school zone as defined by the Ministry of Education can be found on the following website: www.schoolzones.co.nz However, your attention is drawn to the disclaimer on the site:
Disclaimer and Caution:
These maps provide an agreed representation of the school home zone as from 01-01-2003. However they may lack clarity at the zone boundary. The maps must be viewed in conjunction with the written description of the home zone, also available on this website. To check whether there have been any recent amendments to the school zone since this map was last updated, you should contact the school. Reliance should not be placed on these maps alone to determine whether or not a specific address is inside or outside a particular home zone.
THE MOST RELIABLE WAY TO FIND OUT IF YOU ARE IN ZONE IS TO MAKE DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE SCHOOL.
If you are resident outside the school zone:
At its August meeting each year the Board of Trustees decides whether they anticipate that there may be any out of zone places available for the following school year. If this is the case, an out of zone application advice is placed in the local East & Bays Courier newspaper. You can also contact the school in early September for this information if you do not see it in the newspaper.
