Enviro School
We are a Green-Gold Enviro School!
We are very proud to have achieved the Green-Gold status in 2013, and recently having this re-confirmed in 2016. We are guided by the five Enviro-school principles which are:

Did You Know?
- We are a collection point for old mobile phones and oral waste care ( tooth brushes,toothpaste tubes and floss containers) in the school office
- We recycle paper and receive native trees under the 'Paper for Trees' scheme
- We do soft plastics recycling
- We encourage waste free lunches
- We develop compost in our student made compost bins
- We produce worm tea from our award winning worm farm
School life
We have a vibrant school life with lots of helpful teachers and enthusiastic and engaged students. There's so much more to life at Churchill Park School than what goes on in the classroom!
History and community
Churchill Park School was established in the St. Heliers area in 1964. It is uniquely situated in a park, surrounded by farm and recreational land. Currently it is a decile 10 school, of 460 students and 20 classrooms.
Parent Teacher Association
Our Parent Teacher Association has two main goals:
- To raise money to improve the school grounds and facilities
- To build and foster community within our school.
School Board
We have an active and engaged Board at Churchill Park School - members of our community who share a passion for the school and a desire to consistently seek better outcomes for our students.
